There is good news and bad news.
The bad news is that I will not be at Bristolcon this weekend. I’m currently recovering from covid and said recovery is going annoyingly slowly, so with considerable regret I’ve decided to rest up for this weekend, in preparation for ArmadaCon next weekend.
The good news is that the programme for ArmadaCon is out.
Here’s what I’m doing on the Saturday:
– 15:30 – 16:30 Guest Interview — Jaine Fenn
Gary Loveridge interviews Jaine Fenn about her books, re-enactment, and video games.
– 17:00 – 18:00 Panel — Writers Discuss Their Craft
Last year was publishing, this year it’ll be the actual writing — we hope. Adele Andersen, Jaine Fenn, Tracey Norman, and David Wake discuss the craft.
And on the Sunday:
– 13:00 – 13:30 Reading — Jaine Fenn
Jaine Fenn reads from her stories.
– 15:30 – 16:30 Guest Panel — Creativity with Constraints
Our guests Jaine Fenn, Dominic Glynn, David Fernández Girón, and Charlotte Merrill talk about working on video games, film and TV, and how that impacts their creative freedom.
