Here’s what I’ll be up to for Worldcon in Dublin, which I’ll be attending between the 15th and 18th of August:
Thursday 14:30 to 15:20 – Developing Masquerade Presentations (in the Alhambra). I’m going back to my costuming roots here, for a panel on this sometimes neglected part of the costumers’ art.
Thursday 17:30 to 17:50 – Reading (in Liffey Room 3). Not sure what I’ll be reading, most likely something from Broken Shadow.
Friday 15:50 to 15:50 – Autographing (in Level 4 Foyer). I’m assuming this is a book signing session as there are a load of authors doing this, though the fact that it says ‘autographing’ implies a wider remit, which is fine, as I’ll sign (almost) anything.
Saturday 11:00 to 11:50 – Patreon: the Evolution of Supporting the Arts (Wicklow Hall 2A). I’ll be moderating this panel, and it looks like being an interesting discussion.
Saturday 12:30 to 13:00 – signing Shadowlands books at the Angry Robot stand in the book rom.
Saturday 17:30 to 18:30 – Newcon Book Launch (location TBC). Along with many other authors, I’ll be celebrating the release of Newcon Press’s most recent anthologies, including Once Upon a Parsec, the book of alien fairy tales which I have a story in… a story which may throw some light on certain events in the Shadowlands novels.
Sunday 15:30 to 16:00 – signing the Hidden Empire books at the Gollancz stand in the book room.
Aside from that, I’m most likely to be found in whichever bar is most reasonably priced 😉
