On Sunday week, the 21st of September, I’ll be appearing at Station X, a multimedia extravaganza at Bletchley Park. Yes the Bletchley Park! Possibly my coolest gig this year, maybe excepting Worldcon.
The event is ‘a curated weekend of immersive screenings and fun themed workshops’. In other words, you can watch Dr Strangelove in Teleprinter Hall, or Brazil in the Ballroom, or Close Encounters on the Croquet Lawn. Like I say, cool (or whatever the equivalent term is these days). In addition there’s those workshops and talks. I’ll be doing a reading and Q&A on 7pm on Sunday, but the event runs throughout the weekend, Friday to Sunday. They’re even launching their own high-altitude ballon.
